Today, we have some very exciting news to share with you all!
Recently, our restaurant was featured on a popular and long-running TV program in the Kansai region, “Kansai Gastronomy Journey: Gourmand’s Hideaway”! It is such an honor for our small restaurant to be chosen for a show that has been loved for 16 years.
🦞 A Stunning TV Debut! …But the Owner Has Regrets?
The star of our segment on the show was, of course, our signature dish: Live Lobster.
We take a fresh, live lobster right out of the tank and dynamically steam it in a Staub pot right in front of your eyes. The moment we open the lid, you are enveloped in the rich aroma of herbs, followed by the plump, sweet taste of fresh lobster meat…! We are thrilled that this overwhelming live performance was broadcast on TV.
The lobster itself was perfectly confident and delivered a flawless performance in front of the cameras. However… I, the owner, am deeply reflecting on my own performance (laughs). I got so nervous being filmed that I couldn’t speak as smoothly as I wanted to about how amazing the lobster is. I was incredibly stiff! I hope our viewers can get a good laugh out of my awkwardness on screen.
